The Perfect Heating and Cooling System

t’s like not being in favour of the outdoor skating oval in Halifax these days; who could possibly oppose encouraging more people to install solar panels to the heat hot water for their home? Wärmepumpe Preis

Using solar energy to heat water sounds like a no-brainer and logically no one is opposed to the idea but energy expert Art Irwin says solar might not be the one-size-fits-all solution many people believe it is.

"There is a definite line that separates the feasible installations from the non-feasible installations. Many homeowners could be misled assuming they will benefit from energy savings," he says. "If they invested their dollars in upgrading the insulation in their building envelope, they might have a much faster payback on their investment." Luft Wasser Wärmepumpe

In case you missed it, the Halifax Regional Municipality has been looking for 500 to 700 qualified homeowners to participate in its $5-million Community Solar Program, a pilot project introduced last year. Those chosen to participate will agree to mount two solar panels on their roof. Wärmepumpe
